I began working at GEARS on February 8th, 2021. I come to GEARS with 32 years of experience as a teacher, Assistant Director and Director. I live in Lititz with my husband Scott of 29 years. We have two adult children, Zachary, 25 and Abby 19. I also have two labs, Dorrie and Dannie. In my spare time I love spending time with family and love to scrapbook. I am very active in my church as well. My greatest joy with working with children would be reading books to them and helping them to build their literacy skills and love of reading. Reading to children multiple times per week fosters creativity and builds language skills.
I have been married to my husband Ron for 29 years. We have three children, Timmy, Ronnie and Storm. We have one grandchild, Remington, who is very much spoiled. I love spending time with my family. I like to read, garden and trying new food recipes. I hold an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and have worked with children for 21 years. I love watching the children learn new skills, they are always excited to share their new skills with everyone.
I have been with GEARS since June 1989 and have worked with kids for a total of 41 years. I hold an associates degree in early childhood education. I have a son, Eric, a grandson, Tyler and a granddaughter, Hailey. I also have a brother, Daniel and a sister, Mary. My hobbies include, spending time with my family, gardening reading, watching TV. What I have learned from children is to be caring, resilient and flexible.
I have been with GEARS since September of 2017. I have a Bachelors degree in Education and a Masters degree in classroom technology. I have over fifteen years of experience working with children. I am married to my wife Meghan and we have two girls, Emma 9 and Adalyn 5. I enjoy hiking hunting, video games and walking my dog Daisy. I love children’s stories and their personalities. It is just amazing how their imagination can come up with awesome stories.
I am married to my husband Chris for 20 years. We have one son, Cooper who is ten. I have been with GEARS for sixteen years. I have worked with children for over 25 years and I am currently finishing my degree in Early Childhood Education. I love hiking, spinning, and being outdoors. I love watching my son play ice hockey. We are big fans of the Washington Capitols and also the Philadelphia Phillies. I love watching children learn a new skill for the first time. They are so excitable and love to learn!
I have been with GEARS since April 2016 and have worked with kids for a total of 15 years. I have two sisters, one brother, four nieces and one nephew. I have been with my fiancé for 17 years. I am originally from Harrisburg. I love spending time with my dog Ellie, reading, hiking and swimming. I love watching the children learn new things and getting to know each of the children individually. I love seeing things from their eyes. This encourages me to use my imagination and find new creative ways to do things.
I began working at GEARS in 2018 and have over 11 years experience working with children. I have been married to my husband for over eleven years, but been together for 19 years. We have a small farm with animals. I coach soccer and love to watch my kids play sports. What I have learned from children is that children are constantly teaching me as well. It interests me how quickly they can learn, adapt, and form opinions. In observing this and the children’s reactions to things, provides information for me in working with children. I have learned to step back and observe children in their settings.
I started with GEARS in September of 2018. I have two and half years of experience working with children. I live with my parents and my three sisters. I enjoy running and attend wrestling tournaments. I like working with children and the different interactions I have with them.
I started with GEARS in February 2019 and have over three years experience working with children. I am an only child. My mom, dad and one grandma lives in PA. The rest of my family live in southern Maryland. I like hiking, hammocking, painting and spending time with friends and family. I love seeing the kids progress and grow over the years. I think it is awesome I can be someone the kids look up to. Although children can be a lot to handle at times, they are precious human beings and want to be noticed and loved.
